Community Events

Our Marleigh Summer Fair was a truly amazing day, and a testament to what living at Marleigh is all about – bringing the community together. It was fantastic to see so many people fill Marleigh’s Jubilee Square and enjoy all the fun of the fair in the glorious sunshine; people of all ages enjoyed the fairground games, shows and rides, and the children loved seeing our mascot Billy the Bear join in the fun on the carousel and surf machine! 

The event attracted locals in Cambridge as well as Marleigh residents, and showcased the vibrant and friendly spirit that defines living in this special new neighbourhood.

We were delighted to host festive celebrations on Saturday 3rd December 2023 to kick start the holiday season.

We were delighted to host a farmers market in collaboration with Farmers Fayres on Saturday 12th November.

There were a variety of stalls lined up offering everything from sweet treats and refreshments, local produce, homeware, jewellery, flowers and more.
 

To commemorate the Platinum Jubilee of HRH Queen Elizabeth II we re-named the market square at Marleigh, 'Jubilee Square'.



To celebrate the occasion, we held a special community event which included live entertainment, fun-filled activities, exhibition stands with Marleigh Primary Academy and The Monkey Puzzle, whilst also enjoying free food and drink for refreshment.



Jubilee Square will be home to the Marleigh Primary Academy, The Monkey Puzzle Nursery, Co-Op supermarket and The Hangar - our dedicated community hall and more.
