Tracy shares, “We viewed the five-bedroom semi-detached show home, which really did have the wow factor! We ideally wanted a detached home and on the day we visited Marleigh, one of the detached properties had just become available – it was almost like it was meant to be and we reserved the following day. We considered other Cambridge developments, however, the houses at Marleigh surpassed anything else we had seen.
As part of the development, the amenities you get access to are a really strong selling point for families, including Marleigh Primary Academy and Co-op supermarket – as a mum to two young children, having these facilities so close to home is invaluable and it was one of the main reasons we chose our new home.
There is a lovely community at Marleigh, our neighbours are really nice and we have made some new friends too. The development also has a WhatsApp group that everyone chats on; it’s so nice to have a lovely group of people around you.”

Neda, moved to Cambridge three and a half years ago to work as an electronics engineer. Following advice from family and friends, she began saving for a home and achieved her dream in July, moving into a beautiful two-bedroom apartment at Marleigh.

Neda explains: “My new home is a corner plot, which means my balcony has two aspects and I only have one shared wall – so I tell my friends I live in a ‘semi-detached’ apartment! I have abundant light and stunning views, and I love the fact that the entire building is just four levels."

When Libby and Jiten purchased their stunning five-bedroom home, they had no idea they were buying more than just a home for their family.
Jiten continues: “At the start of our search, we did offer on an older property in the area, but quickly realised our hearts weren’t in it. I suggested we take a look at Marleigh and as soon as we saw the houses online, we had a good feeling. We booked an appointment for the following day and that was it. Not only was the house exactly what we were looking for, the plot we chose had a beautiful outlook, backing onto woodland, which was another selling point. During the build, we visited the site every weekend to walk through the woods and see the progress on our house, which was a really exciting time.”
Libby explains: “If we’d known what the community was like at Marleigh, that would have been the number one draw to moving here. We were already sold on Marleigh’s other strengths and having lived in an apartment built by Hill previously; we knew the exceptional quality of the build."
